Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist and be available to provider during office hours
• Rooming and prepare patients for examination (according to individual provider preference)
• Record vitals and other pertinent data in EHR system
• Schedule tests and other patient procedures (as requested by provider)
• Screen calls for provider and answer questions for patients based on information in the patient’s chart.  Relay all messages to provider via tasking in EHR
• Maintain temperature log and safety logs of applicable equipment
• Timely review and processing of e faxes and incoming electronic correspondence or mail.

 

Requirements:

• Must be Certified Nurses Aide. 
• CPR certification required or must become certified within 60 days of employment. 
• Must obtain CPOEP certification within 90 days of hire.
• The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times. 
• The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills and must work well with team members.
• Must also have a high level of comfort in working with and become proficient in computer systems.
