Content Specialist – Part Time

Primary Objective: To create high-quality video content and manage engaging social media campaigns, positively representing Innovative Ag Services (IAS) through creative storytelling and collaboration with the communications team. This part-time role also supports digital design and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

This position requires creativity, technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The responsibilities outlined are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
- Social Media Content Creation & Management:
- Develop innovative content, including graphics, captions, and written copy, for various platforms.
- Schedule and manage posts via a content calendar using tools like Sprout Social or Loomly.
- Collaborate on social media strategies and participate in the content cultivators committee.
- Monitor trends and analytics to optimize performance.
- Video Editing:
- Edit videos and audio files for social media, campaigns, and promotional use in compliance with brand standards.
- Create animations for social media using tools such as After Effects or Google Web Designer.
- Edit both short-form and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Collaboration & Innovation:
- Work closely with the Communications Director and team to generate fresh ideas.
- Solve challenges proactively and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Other Duties as Needed
- Assist “as needed with the following:
- Video Production
- Collaborate in the planning, shooting, and script writing for IAS videos.
- Digital Design:
- Design advertisements, flyers, postcards, email graphics, and other visuals, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Intranet & Web Support:
- Assist with content and graphic updates on the company’s Jostle intranet platform.
- Maintain and schedule web content, including news articles, employee updates, and graphic banners.
- Video Production
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Proficiency in video and audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition).
- Strong graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Familiarity with social media platform management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Loomly, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent writing skills for social media captions and copy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Collaborative and creative mindset.
- Ability to work a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote workdays.
- Ability to travel to other company locations or customer sites to provide support, training, or attend meetings.
Physical Requirements/Environmental Adaptability:
- Requires static strength to lift, push, pull, or, on occasion, carry objects with a minimum weight of 50 pounds. Also flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Some tasks involve repetitive motion.
- Agricultural Environment – Possible exposure to seasonal weather, outdoor conditions, and agriculture products.
