Preucil School of Music, a non-profit school, is currently searching for a Business Manager.

This position plays a critical role in the success of the school by supervising, developing and coordinating all of the business operations of the school to ensure success of the school’s mission. This full-time position works closely with the Director and Assistant Director and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including employee administration, communications with the Board of Trustees and Guild, collaborating with co-workers, customers and various outside parties, assisting with the development of financial reports and analyzing data.

Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating building & grounds maintenance for two locations, supporting payroll and bookkeeping functions, assuring quality customer service, assisting with event planning, supporting fundraising projects, overseeing marketing/advertising, coordinating the student financial aid program, maintaining school website, and other office type duties.

Work hours:

• 8:00-5:00pm
• Occasional evening and weekend hours are required for school events and meetings

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Experience in or knowledge of non-profits and the laws that govern them
• Strong IT background
• A minimum of two years of management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
