Iowa Eye Center in Cedar Rapids is now hiring for a full time Insurance Specialist!

Iowa Eye Center is a physician owned practice that sees patients from a large geographic area. Local solo practice ophthalmologists founded the group practice in 1992 and there is a large group of employees that have been here since the beginning. It's a great place to work! There are 8 physicians and over 55 employees. We are currently searching for someone to join our insurance team. This is a full-time position.

​Key Responsibilities:

• Posting charges and payments
• Insurance Claims submissions
• Investigating Claims denials
• Assisting patients with past due accounts

What we are looking for:

• Someone who has worked in a medical business office setting. 
• Experience with ophthalmology and/or Next Gen Practice Management System would be great but not required
• Experience with CPT and ICD10 codes
• Detailed oriented person that likes numbers
• Ability to communication with your co-workers, physicians and medical personnel
• Ability to communication effectively and compassionately with patients
