Position Title: Elementary Building Principal                       
Immediate Supervisor: Superintendent

Mount Vernon Community School District is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as our Elementary Principal for Washington Elementary for the 2025/2026 school year. Our elementary building serves grades PK-4th grade.

In addition to serving in the role of Principal, the selected candidate may also be considered to serve as the PK-12th grade Special Education Director for an additional stipend. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and student-centered educational community.

Salary and benefits specific to this position will be discussed with applicants individually and will be based on experience.

This position will begin officially on July 1, 2025.
