Purpose:          

• To ensure the safe, timely, and accurate receipt and shipment of RMDS freight.

 

Essential Duties

• Operating forklift safely in a fast-paced environment
• Communicating and conducting yourself in a professional manner
• Unloading and loading trailers with a forklift.
• Inspecting and verifying incoming freight for accuracy and/or damage. 
•  If freight is not correct in some way, the appropriate paperwork must be completed and given to Xdock Lead.
• Use a pallet wrapping machine.
• Use a freight scale, neatly record and tally weights
• Taking direction/following instructions
• Working both as a team and independently.
• Sweep out trailers
• Maintaining neat and orderly dock
• Maintaining and caring for company provided equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Other tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license and approved driving record
• High attention to details
• Highly dependable, motivated, and self-driven
• Strong sense of urgency, and accountability
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
