Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with experience working on a variety of vehicles. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Inspect used vehicles for sale and accurately diagnose issues
- Order correct parts and perform repairs as necessary
- Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Assist other team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Reliable and dependable
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have your own tools
- ASE Certification preferred, but not required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
