Gosling & Company, P.C., a respected public accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Controller/CFO to join our team! This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility for day-to-day accounting and financial management. The current individual in this position is retiring and will be available for a transition period to ensure a smooth handoff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounting systems and records for four related entities:
  • Main operating company
  • Real estate rental entity
  • Equity partnership
  • Small investment LLC
• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare budgets and forecast cash flow.
• Process semi-monthly payroll and reporting for 30-40 employees with varied compensation structures.
• Coordinate with internal HR and third-party administrators for employee benefits administration.
• Manage accounts payable, deposits and cash flow.
• Manage liability and malpractice insurance.
• Record corporate minutes for shareholder meetings.
• Prepare annual valuations and buy-sell agreements for shareholders.
• Manage annual office remodel and improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required); CPA preferred.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
